The holidays don't wrap with Christmas in Boquerón. One of the community's most cherished celebrations is Three Kings Day, which is observed with equal doses of revelry and reverence. A Boquerón tradition for more than 40 years, the festivities begin in the wee hours of January 6 when the Three Kings (spectacularly costumed) ride out on horseback, delighting young and old with candy, music and pagentry. That afternoon, the nativity is recreated and gifts distributed until nightfall. El Dia de de Reyes is one of Puerto Rico's most revered holidays and, as such, it's a wonderful time to celebrate and reflect at a Boquerón resort.
